Do you feel under pressure internally, even though your life looks “under control” from the outside?

You take care of your responsibilities, think things through and try to keep everything together. Yet, it takes more energy out of you than others might realise.

Perhaps you already understand many of your behavioural patterns, but still find yourself in the same situations again and again. You want something to change, but aren’t quite sure how.

Sometimes, this is difficult to change on your own.

In psychotherapy, we take the time to look more closely, understand the connections and develop new perspectives together.

Sometimes, we lose touch with ourselves in everyday life. We keep going, meet expectations and take care of everything that needs to be done – and along the way, lose sight of what we actually want and what truly matters to us.

I accompany people in reconnecting with themselves. From my own experience, I know how much can change when you begin to take an honest look at your life. My role isn’t to give you the answers, but to support you in finding your own.

How I Work

I meet you with openness and honesty, treating you as an equal. Together, we explore recurring patterns, question familiar ways of seeing things, and make room for what truly matters to you. I ask honest and sometimes uncomfortable questions – always at your pace. You decide how far we go.

You don’t have to play a particular role with me or already know what you want to talk about or what needs to change. We explore together what is going on for you and what feels important.

What I can support you with:

Self-Discovery & Identity

  • Understanding recurring behavioural patterns
  • Questions of identity and life transitions
  • Recognising your own needs and setting boundaries
  • Getting to know yourself better and discovering what truly matters to you

Emotional Struggles

  • Depression and lack of motivation
  • Anxiety and inner restlessness
  • Burnout and emotional exhaustion
  • Inner pressure and self-criticism
  • Grief and loss

Relationships & Life Challenges

  • Relationship and family conflicts
  • Moving, adapting to new circumstances and career changes

Practical Information

I am a psychotherapist in the final phase of my legally regulated training in Austria, working under teaching supervision (Lehrsupervision). I regularly reflect on my therapeutic work in supervision.

As a native English speaker, I offer psychotherapy in English as well as in German.

I offer private psychotherapy. At my current stage of training, reimbursement through statutory health insurance is not available.

In person in Klosterneuburg or online throughout Lower Austria.

If you recognize yourself in some of these words, we can meet for an initial appointment and see together whether working with each other feels like a good fit.

About Me My Story : info in english

I was born and raised in the United States and moved to Austria to pursue my dream of becoming a psychotherapist. As a child, I was always curious about myself and others. I would ask myself, „Why do people react this way? Why do I act this way?“ I thought deeply and frequently about the communication of emotions, noticing that people often express something different from what they truly feel in the moment. This curiosity led me on a personal journey of exploration and experimentation, testing and observing myself and others to understand human behavior more deeply.

Over time, I realized that I have a passion for learning, expressing, and guiding emotions in ways that support healing. This passion eventually led me to make a plan: to move to Austria and train as an Integrative Gestalt Psychotherapist, a path that allows me to combine curiosity, connection, and transformation in my work with others.

Integrative Gestalt therapy, is a transformative approach that adapts to your needs and supports you in integrating your emotions. In our sessions, we work with connection, honesty, acceptance, trust, focus, and a safe space to guide you along the Gestalt pathway.

Gestalt focuses on the here and now. While the past and future can be explored, the main goal is to find clarity, presence, and comfort in the present moment. Simply put, I accompany you into your emotional world to face, understand, and integrate the parts of yourself that may feel disconnected or unresolved.

This method offers many possibilities, but real change begins with trust and willingness. My role is to challenge and support you directly, warmly, and honestly, to foster lasting growth and courageous self discovery.

About Couples Therapy Couples Therapy: info in english

When conversations in your relationship keep falling into the same patterns, having a space to talk can help you understand each other better.

In couples therapy, we look together at what’s happening between you. I approach you both with warmth, clarity and honesty.

Who can benefit from couples therapy?

If you keep arguing about the same things without getting anywhere, feel increasingly distant or unheard, or are facing a change together – such as moving, changing jobs or entering a new stage of life.

What can you expect?

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about your concerns, what’s been going on and what you hope to get out of couples therapy. From there, we’ll explore together what working with each other might look like.
